About Me!

Hi, my name is Ceyla! I am starting my second year of elementary education at the University of Victoria. I have grown up in Victoria with the unearned privilege of living and learning on the unceded territories of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEC nations, and live here with my parents, three brothers, and my cat Georgia Peach. I love to read, bake, see concerts, watch movies and be in nature. My favourite way to spend my time is getting together with friends in my community, eating delicious food, and being creative. I am so happy to be in the elementary education program and cannot wait to be a teacher and create a classroom environment full of joy, empathy, and inclusion.
